Great Valley Publishing Company’s (GVP) CE Learning Library provides relevant, timely, and independent continuing education to registered dietitians, physicians, social workers, and other members of the health care team to improve learners’ abilities to apply new knowledge and skills in practice to support improved patient outcomes.
The focus of our CE programs is related to the needs of the interprofessional audiences of GVP, including nutritional skills for clinicians, health care issues impacting the geriatric population, emerging technologies and techniques in radiological images, optimal use of social workers in the care equation, and collaborative team skills.

In support of improving patient care, GVP is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team. Our activities also award credit for dietetics (CDR CPEU).
Joint Accreditation (JA) establishes the standards by which continuing education is planned by and for the health care team. This distinction is awarded to entities that have demonstrated compliance with the standards by the co-founding accreditors – the ACCME, ACPE, and ANCC – on behalf of the collaborating accreditors.
As a Jointly Accredited Organization, GVP is approved to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Organizations, not individual courses, are approved under this program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit.
GVP also offers IPCE credits for learning and change. The IPCE credit designation identifies activities that are specifically designed to improve team collaboration and patient care.
