Hello Today’s Dietitian Spring Symposium Registrant,
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to create an unprecedented environment for the people of the United States and around the world, we wanted to provide an update on the status of the upcoming Today’s Dietitian Spring Symposium.
We are continually monitoring developments as they emerge and will respect the guidelines established by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. At present, we are preparing with the hope that we will be able to host the live event and are working closely with all our subject matter experts to continue development of the educational sessions for this format. However, being realistic, we fully understand and acknowledge that governmental orders or other complications could prevent us from hosting a live event. The current recommendation to limit gatherings to no more than 50 people has an expiration that is very close to the dates for the Symposium.
To that end, we are developing a contingency plan for a comprehensive virtual meeting that will provide a first-rate educational experience, while ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all involved. We understand that time is of the essence and will provide updates via email and on our website (TodaysDietitian.com/ss20) as they occur so that you may plan accordingly. The decision regarding a live or virtual event will be communicated by April 3rd.
