Expand your nutrition expertise and professional development by joining us in Austin this May!

About the Symposium

Our continuing education and networking event will take place in Austin, Texas from May 20-23, 2018, and professionals in attendance can earn upwards of 15 CEUs. Our sessions and workshops will be led by some of the foremost experts in dietetics and nutrition, on a variety of topics that include Cancer, GMOs, Sports Nutrition, Lab Assessment, Digestive Diseases, Food Sensitivities & Allergies, Gut Microbiome, Culinary Perspectives, Branding, Intuitive Eating, Mindfulness, and more.

Our educational program and first-class line up of presenters will provide you with the tools and knowledge you need to provide exceptional dietetics counsel to your clients as well as supplying you with tips to grow your professional career and practice. In addition to sessions and workshops, there will be networking opportunities, peer interaction and product sampling from our sponsors.

After spending your days learning in the classroom, the Hyatt Regency Austin’s ideal location near South Congress Bridge puts you just steps away from downtown and its diverse array of culinary establishments, shopping and attractions. You’ll be able to experience the many flavors of southern Texas cuisine — all within walking distance from the hotel. Fitness enthusiasts will enjoy the outdoor activities on Lady Bird Lake, including a hiking and biking trail as well as paddle-boarding and boating.

Unlike any other event designed for dietitians, our Spring Symposium offers a level of engagement, interaction, and meaningful person-to-person contact between our attendees, our session presenters, and our sponsors that is truly different and quite extraordinary for an industry meeting. Things really are bigger in Texas — and this event will be no exception!
